Despite being ridiculed and threatened by his neighbors, who think he has lost his mind, Horton is determined to save the particle--because “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”

Mandira is looking forward to her next project Mumbai Chakachak,
Till about a few years back, whenever there used to be a mention of cricket, there was just one name that popped up, Sachin Tendulkar. But this equation changed a couple of years back with the entry of the most 'unsuspected' player (off-field).
She was none other than Mandira Bedi, the original 'Shanti' of the Tellyland. She made national headlines with her anchoring of cricket shows, which was followed by a series of many others. She is back with the much awaited Rakesh Roshan's comedy flick Krazzy 4.
She said "It's a different kind of concept that Bollywood is going to witness. Even though I am not acting in the film, I am playing an 'anchor' in the film. In the sense, I play a visiting psychiatrist, who does her bit by introducing the four lead characters (Irrfan, Suresh, Rajpal and Arshad) by interviewing them."
On the professional front, besides Krazzy 4, Mandira is looking forward to her next project Mumbai Chakachak, wherein she plays the role of Anarkali, a character who believes in every possible social cause and eventually joins Rahul Bose.
On the personal front, she said that her husband Raj Kaushal (who was not keeping well for some time) is fine now and is working on a film project, details of which will be announced shortly.

Rs 10 cr per ads for Kareena Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are India's answer to Victoria and David Beckham - they are on their way to becoming 2008's hottest power duo with companies approaching them for joint endorsements at a mind-boggling rate of Rs 10 crore per ad.
Says a source close to the actress, "Kareena has been working out to develop a body type like Victoria Beckham, so that she can model and carry off any product in the world. Victoria is known as the best clotheshorse and together with David, she has launched perfumes, a jeans line and other endorsements.
Their fees skyrocket every passing year. Now Saif and Kareena are being offered a whopping 10 crore to do ads together.
Every ad company is pitching for them. Saif's endorsement manager, Globosport and Kareena's manager, Matrix have been offered more than five endorsements offers together. Shweta of Matrix says, "I can't comment on the amount as that is against client confidentiality; but yes, a lot of brands have approached us for Kareena and Saif's joint ads. We are looking at categories where both can work together.
We can't look at competing brands or brands like clothing, which Kareena (Globus) is already endorsing. We are looking at them jointly endorsing automobiles, a health drink and luxury watch brand amongst many other brands.
They are a young power couple all by themselves and that's the reason brands are looking to associate themselves with Saif and Kareena almost like Victoria and David Beckham, though they belong to an older category. In 2008, Saif and Kareena could very well become the No 1 power couple as far as endorsing brands is concerned."

Biography Kate Hudson
The daughter of Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson bears more than a passing resemblance to her famous mother in both looks and onscreen vivacity. Born in Los Angeles on April 19, 1979, Hudson made her screen debut in 1998. She first earned notice for her work in 200 Cigarettes (1999), an ensemble film that cast her as naive Cindy out on a date with caddish Jack (Jay Mohr). Although the film proved to be a substantial critical and commercial disappointment, Hudson's performance was singled out for some of the scant praise the film did receive. The following year, she could be seen starring opposite fellow up-and-comer Joshua Jackson in Gossip, a drama centered on the disastrous side effects of rumor-mongering on a college campus.
If critical recognition had eluded her in the past, it certainly caught-up with her at the 2000 Golden Globe Awards, where she took home the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous. Engulfed in the Hollywood hype machine following her winning role in Almost Famous, it seemed as if Hudson was set to follow her mother in taking the film industry by storm. After soaking in her nowfound fame in the early years of the new millennium, Hudson emerged from a whirlwind schedule of fashion shoots and awards shows to appear in the romantic war drama The Four Feathers in 2002.
Though The Four Feathers was quickly and unceremoniously relegated to box-office obscurity, Hudson fired back with an almost surefire hit when she starred opposite quirky heartthrob Matthew McConaughey in the romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003). While subsequent roles in Alex and Emma, Le Divorce, and Raising Helen did little to elevate Hudson's already-comfortable star status, a venture into the unknown in the curiously original but largely underseen Skeleton Key at least showed the actress' willingness to explore new territory onscreen.
Back in the realm of comedy, Hudson would do her best to tolerate onscreen husband Matt Dillon's eccentric best-friend when the down-on-his-luck Dupree (Owen Wilson) arrives on their doorstep looking for a place to stay in the farcical summer comedy You, Me and Dupree. ~ Rebecca Flint, All Movie Guide

Andy Tennant's Fool's Gold
Synopsis How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days co-stars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey re-team on the big screen for this adventurous tale about a treasure-hunting couple whose eight-year quest for the ultimate prize has left them flat broke and fresh out of gas. Ben "Finn" Finnegan (McConaughey) is a treasure hunter who has made it his mission in life to track down the Queen's Dowry -- a legendary collection of 40 chests filled with priceless treasure, and lost at sea in 1715. But in his single-minded quest to track down this sizable booty, Finn has sadly neglected his marriage to his loving wife Tess (Hudson). Tess has grown tired of the hunt, and now she's looking to start her life anew by going to work on the massive yacht of globetrotting billionaire Nigel Honeycutt (Donald Sutherland). But just as Tess begins to relish the freedom on her new, laid-back lifestyle, Finn uses his roughish charm to convince the adventurous baron and his debutante daughter Gemma (Alexis Dziena) that the elusive Spanish treasure is finally within reach. Of course no magnate in his right mind would reject the prospect of tracking down the most mythical treasure on the planet, and now as the hapless Tess is forced on yet another wild goose chase, her husband's former mentor Moe Fitch (Ray Winstone) and a greedy local gangster (Kevin Hart) up the stakes by joining in on the race. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
Step Up 2 the Streets
Tomboy Andie (Briana Evigan) belongs to an elite inner-city dance crew called the 410 whose latest prank -- invading a subway car posing as muggers and staging an inmpromptu dance show for bewildered passengers -- have gotten its members labeled delinquents by the Baltimore media.
Watching reports of the 410's "public disturbances" on TV that night, Andie's guardian (Sonja Sohn, the pic's only connection to HBO's gritty, Baltimore-based "The Wire") threatens to send the unruly orphan to Texas. As in the first film, the wayward teen lands herself at the Maryland School of the Arts, where her street-dancing style clashes with the institution's conservative methods.
By this point, it's clear the strait-laced dance academy is the sequel's only tie to the original, but fans needn't take down their Tatum pinups just yet. The hunky "Step Up" star returns long enough to make audiences swoon anew, challenging Andie to a dance-off. If she wins, the movie's over and everybody can go home. But if he wins, she agrees to take MSA seriously and attend classes without question.
And so Tatum reminds us why the first movie was such a runaway sensation, using trampolines to outdance the newbie. But even this display gives only the faintest indication of the incredible dancing in store. "Step Up 2" features nearly as much dancing as it does dialogue, and that's a good thing, considering the after-school special quality of its obligatory emotional scenes.

Andrew Adamson’s The Chronicles of Narnia
There really is more action: One major scene finds Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund (who have returned to Narnia) attempting to overtake the Telmarine castle with a reunited band of Narnia creatures. The fact that the operation occurs at night helps matters, but Adamson has learned to increase the tension and make you believe these kids were great warriors when they ruled the land (well, more than you'd expect at least). As Adamson says, "It is more intense, but it's not bloody or gory. It is a balance between keeping everything real so the emotions are there."
