Meera has banned her to act in the Malluwood Films.
Meera Jasmine’s career has gone downhill in her home state, Kerala. Malayalam Film Association, AMMA, has shown the doors to Meera Jasmine, and has banned her to act in the Malluwood Films. she has been banned from acting in any Malayalam movies until AMMA lifts the ban.
The reason for the ban seems to be that in the movie, Twenty:20, all the Malayalam celebrities are going to play a role, free of cost. When Meera was approched for a role, she rejected to be a part of the film, for she had a clash with the dates of the Telugu movies. The proceeds from Twenty20 movie will go for the Association welfare funds.
It remains to be seen how Meera’s career will fare as she doesn’t usually sign many Malayalam movies and her only movie in Kollywood is the recently released Nepali.
‘Thai Kaviyam‘, Movie script written by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi.
Pa. Vijay’s movie Thai Kaviyam is going to have a twist in its song list. The movie will have the Ovvoru Pookullame song which featured in Autograph. The song had been penned by Pa. Vijay himself and he felt that it would be appropriate in a situation in the movie Thai Kaviyam.
National award winning popular lyricist Pa. Vijay is to do hero role in ‘Thai Kaviyam‘, script of the film is written by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi.
The story is based on the famous Russian author Maxim Gorky’s “The Mother”. Thai Kaviyam is being directed by ‘Bali Srirangam’ and it is formally launched by Karunanidhi. Thai Kaviyam marks the debut venture of Pa Vijay as hero with a newcomer Bali Srirangam directing the movie. Vidyasagar has scored music for the movie.
13-B Mein Sab Khairiyat Hain in Hindi bilingual film for Madhavan
Yavarum Nalam (13-B Mein Sab Khairiyat Hain in Hindi) is a forthcoming high budget bilingual film for Madhavan, directed by Vikram K. Kumar of Alai fame.
Yaavarum Nalam is a story about the sudden happenings in the life of Manohar (Madhavan) after he and his brother buy a huge flat (13-B). Acting as Madhavan’s wife Priya in both the versions is Neetu Chandra. Madhavan’s character is the only person to be aware of the things around. How he saves his family forms the crux.

Vijay's Singam is said to be a racy movie
The Pokkiri success combination of Vijay and Prabudeva will be comming together again in Prabudeva’s next direction. The movie titled Singam is said to be a racy movie with all the ingredients Vijay fans will love. The movie is all set to hit the floors after Prabhudeva completes the Hindi version of ‘Pokirri’ and Vijay completes Kuruvi.
Meanwhile grapevine is abuzz that Nayantara has been approched to act in this movie. It may be recalled that Nayantara was tipped to play Vijay’s heroine in ‘Kuruvi’ but was toppled at the last moment by Trisha. Nayantara had appeared for a song in Vijay starrer ‘Sivakasi’. The two are now appointed as star ambassadors to promote IPL Chennai Super Kings team and a music video will be shot featuring them soon.

The winner of many State awards, for doing talented character role now goes so cheap by acting in lip-locked kissing scenes, making her movie 'A' grade. That is, once her movies were certified U and now its Adult's Only. What a shame? The worst part is she is planning to marry a guy called ‘Mandolin’ Rajesh, soon.
In few days time two of her movies are going to hit the screens, one is Nepali, in which she has starred with Bharath, and it was said that extra money was paid for the kisses and very close dirty scenes with Bharath that she did for the movie.
Inathe Chinthavishayam in Malayalam co-starred with Mohanlal also has smooch scenes.
Dorai was the first of her directors to suggest an intimate kissing scene with Bharath for Nepali, she readily agreed as the “story requires it” (thats what she says) and it was immediately adopted to the Malayalam movie.

Shankar and Rajinikanth are very fond of Ash for Robot
"Is she plays the role of Robots lady love or someone will replace her?" This is the question raised by media for the past two days. The thread was actually started by a Mumbai tabloid that reports that Shankar plans to shoot Robot over a period of two years. That apparently is not acceptable to Aishwarya who cannot afford to give so much of time to a project. It says further that just because of this Shankar is thinking of replacing her with actress Deepika Padukone.
Shankar and Rajinikanth are very fond of Ash, who made her acting debut in Shankar's film Jeans. Since then, the director and actor have approached her for every single film they have made, but every time Ash had turned them down for one reason or another.
When asked about this, Aishwarya said, "Actually, I want to work with Rajinikanth. He is phenomenal. Everyone speaks of this experience. I'll actually go through the experience. It's very important for me to come away with something from my films since I give so much. I know that that will be a total Rajini-Shankar styled entertainer. But I accepted the project just to get the experience of acting with a legend like Rajini. Also Shankar and Rajini have approached me for so many films, it's embarrassing."
The actress said further, "Rajinikanth, being the senior, has shown no egoistic traits in approaching me for his last four films. And my refusal to do his films was never misunderstood by him. I admire him for that. What a cultured man he is! It speaks volumes for his seniority and his caliber as a human being to never take offence to my attitude."
"Definitely, I will do this Rajini brand science fiction. No doubt on that." She concludes with a promising note towards the Superstar and mega director," she added.
Kaalai want’s to make a record with young heroine
The latest inclusion in Simbu’s new film Kaalai is Nila. She has accepted to appear in an item number in the film along with the playboy.
Nila is expected to become a promising young heroine in Tamil after her debut film Ah… Aah with S.J.Surya. But her adamant behaviour and call sheet mess keep her in the list of least favourite heroines for the producers. Now she has realized this fact, and is now much more grounded in reality.
At present the actress is playing against Bharath in the film Killadi. This is the only assignment that she has currently. In Telugu also it is very hard for her to find good offers. So Nila has decided to accept films in Tamil even as second heroine.
A few days ago, Simbu approached the actress to appear in an item number for Kaalai. Nila accepted this offer immediately without any hesitation. When asked about this decision, she told, ‘Simbu is a talented actor as well as director. There is nothing wrong in performing an item song. In Hindi, many top heroines including Madhuri, Rani Mukherji and Preethi have performed item numbers. You should not construe that I’m always ready for any item song. It is depends on the hero and the significance of the song’.

The shooting of Danush, Tamanna starrer is commencing today. The legal heir N.Veerasami of Easwri Productions the producer of Rajnikanth’s Padikathavan (1985) has agreed to part with the title and now Danush and Tamanna will be seen in the movie. The movie will be directed by Suraj for producers Vijaya Productions. Music is by renowned musician Mani Sharma.
Danush’s Yaaradi Nee Mohini is also hitting the screens today. Tamanna is super excited about the film Padikathavan and is looking forward to playing the role that has shades of humor to it as well. This film will also star Vadivel in a crucial role.

Magesh Saranya Matrum Palar Movie

Yaaradi Nee Mohini censored with U certificate
Yaaradi Nee Mohini starring Danush and Nayantara in the lead role has been censored with U certificate. The movie is now ready for release in the first week of April.
The movie starring Dhanush and Nayantara in lead roles is a remake of Telugu hit Adavari Mataluku Ardhalae Verulae (directed by Selvaraghavan). Jawahar, an associate of Selvaraghavan, directs the Tamil version.The shooting for the movie commenced last month in Chennai followed by a few scenes in Hyderabad.
The movie is said to be a perfect for the family audience according to the censor board. Riding high on the success wave of the last year Deepavali release Polladhavan, Dhanush will try his chemistry with Nayanthara for the first time in Yaaradi.
As a last minute addition, the song ‘Paalakkaattu Pakkathiley’ from the film ‘Vietnam Veedu’ has been remixed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and this will be added to the already released audio CD, hence the producers have decided to bring out the new version of the audio CD and cassette.

People who have watched Babel, the hollywood movie by Alejandro González Iñárritu will also know about the strong narrative which connects the four different stories over a span of three countries on which the movie is based. This is exactly the style of narrative that director Venkat Prabu intends to follow in his upcomming movie Saroja.
Saroja by Amma Creations will have Vega a Mumbai Model doing the central character of Saroja around whom the movie revolves. Venkat Prbahu’s close pal and producer SPB Charan is acting in Saroja. Premji Amaran and Siva of Chennai 600028 fame are also in the film. Venkat Prabhu will handle the story, screenplay, dialogs and direction and production is by S. Aruna Maheshwari. The movie also stars Prakashraj and Jeyaram playing important roles.
Saroja will be the story of four people who find themselves in an extraordinary situation and spans across many cities. The movie is scheduled for a June release.
Nirav Shah replaces Ratnavelu for Robot
The current cameraman for Robot is R.Ratnavelu, not sure for how long, but lets hope he is the one who is going to stick to the project till the end. Robot the big budget movie by director Shankar, starring none other than Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood bomb Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been having replacement of cameraman quite frequently since the project was announced.
The initial chose for shooting Rajini and Ash and the Robot was Nirav Shah, but he walked out. He was replaced by Thiru but looks like there has been differences with Thiru too and he has been now replaced by R. Ratnavelu.
The reason seems to be that Shankar has insisted his crew to be completely dedicated to Robot for the next 2 years and it is a difficult task for many to do. Lets hope Ratnavelu gets to be associated with the movie which will go down in history!!

Actress Shreya Reddy Weds Vikram Krishna ...
VJ turned actress Shreya Reddy and producer Vikram Krisha will enter wedlock this Sunday in Chennai. The reception of the couple is scheduled tomorrow at Kalaignar Arangam in the premises of Anna Arivalayam, in which Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is expected to participate.
Vikram Krishna, son of producer G K Reddy and brother of actor Vishal, started his career as an actor in ‘Pooparikka Varukirom’. He acted with veteran Sivaji Ganesan in the film. Later, he became producer and funded many films of Vishal, under the banner G K Film Corporation.
Shreya Reddy is the daughter of former cricketer Bharath Reddy. The dusky beauty started her career as a VJ in S S Music channel. She went on to become actress in ‘Thimiru’, produced by Vikram Krishna, where Cupid played between the two.

The Kollywood Industry is very much keen with the latest globalization and the latest technology introduced in the country. Not for making use of it in their movie, but to make an entire film upon that. A decade ago, it was Kadalar Dhinam, that was made upon the rising trend of the Internet and the E-Mails. The film was a great hit. Then a lot films have come around with reagard to the globalization and the changes in the economy. Now-a-days its the world of Call Centers. Each and every nook and corner of the city has been piled with the call centers. Being this the trend, director, Gautham Menon, is all seto make a film with Trisha, with related to this. The title of the movie is Chennaiyil Oru Mazhai Kaalam.
In this film, Trisha, would be playing the role of a call center girl. The movie would deal with the various developments, in the cosmopoliton culture. The movie is scheduled to hit the floors after Gautham Menon’s
Vaaranam Aayiram.. The movie would deal with the various aspects of the life in the Call Center. It would also portray the night life of the call center employees, the huge salary packages and also their family and health problems. The film also tries to show the IT culture prevailing in the city.
Director Gautham Menon has started shooting for “Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam” with Trisha in the lead. Nikita, who had a brief stint in Tamil and now in Telugu, Nethra who featured in “Thoovanam”and four boys Veera, Dev, Satish and Shyam, are the other actors and they are all new faces. Nethra was signed on recently after Gautham reportedly saw the promos of Thoovanam in which she portrayed the role of an NRI girl. “Chennaiyil..” is the story revolving around IT professionals. Gautham has just competed 15-day shoot for the film. It is a new genre which Gautham has not tried before. According to him, it will be a complete entertainer, a light film with Trisha leading the cast. Though Nethra is to play a complementary role, she believes her role also will be significant one. “Every character in Gautham sir’s film is well drawn out. So I am rest assured about mine too,” she told mediapersons. She is all praise for Gautham. Though she is a newcomer, requiring several re-takes, “Gautham sir was very patient with me and never lost his temper at any point of time” during the 15-day shoot, she said.
Originally, “Chennaiyil…” was announced as a project with actor Surya in the lead. Gautham clarified that “Chennaiyil..” with Trisha and a whole lot of youngsters is new and the story is different. He has taken only the title. The earlier “Chennaiyil..” with Surya has been renamed “Vaaranam Aayiram” which is on hold with Surya getting busy with another project “Vael”. On the technical front, Gautham has music is by A.R. Rehman, art direction by Rajeevan and editing by Antony.
